Hope College - Zambia
Hope College, which began in 2000, has it's campus in Lusaka, the Capital City of Zambia. This college, was founded by Richard and Janet Bartrop from Peterborough, England. Hope College is a unique training place - it functions as a school for those who are already in church leadership. The College offers 2 programs:
- A diploma course which is a 2 year course consisting of 3 six-week terms spread throughout the year. This allows for the pastors and leaders to not be away from their congregations for extended periods of time.
- A certificate course was launched in 2006 as a Saturday course. Its focus is for those with full time secular work and allows for training for a broader band of leaders including worship leaders.
We are thankful to God to see the great impact that Hope College has had on the church in Zambia in only a few short years.
The diploma program will start again in January of 2009 with 20 students. Currently a new housing facility in being developed for this larger group of students.

Here, men and women of Zambia and beyond are trained in the principles of the Kingdom of God, with solid Biblical, doctrinal, and Theological courses.
Some of these courses are outworked very practically. All of these courses make for well equipped pastors and kingdom leaders. |
