Bizweni

Lifelink has had longstanding links with South Africa, particularly to the Bizweni Community Church in Cape Town.  'Bizweni' comes from the Zulu word "Mbizo", which means "the king calls".    




Bizweni Community Church is lead by Kobus and Hazel Swart who have been working there since 1986. See a video of Kobus sharing about the Church (Below)

One of the projects the church is involved in is a center for disabled children.  In 1998 Alta Nieuwoudt began an ambitious project to support these children who would otherwise have no access to school or education programmes. See a video of Alta sharing what is happening currently (below)

	Lynne Houghton has been working at the Bizweni Home for disabled Children. She came from the Bible College of Wales to Cape Town with a burden to see these children get the best the Kingdom of God can offer. Listen to her story as she shares the needs of the home.

There is also a Bible School - Bizweni College, which provides one, two and three year courses in theology. Dr Izak Nieuwoudt is the Principal at the Bizweni College which is attended by students from all over Africa and the world. See the videos below to find out about the college.
